HCI Youth Showdown High Point Series

June 29th at 4 Rocks Arena (Qualifier)
October 26th at IL State Fairgrounds, Springfield (Qualifier)
March 8, 2025 at IL State Fairgrounds, Springfield (Championship)
Come compete with the most talented young cowboys and cowgirls on their elite equine partners at the HCI Youth Showdown Series. Two, one-day events with a points carrying forward to the Championship in October. Each event features barrel racing, poles, figure 8 race and goat tying (goat flanking Pee Wee Division). Three age divisions - Pee Wee (8 and under), Junior (9-13), and Senior (14-18).
Riders in each age division who compete in all 4 events at qualifying events are eligible for the high point all around champion custom breast collar. The high point all around champion at the Championship event in October will be awarded trophy saddles.
In order to qualify for the Series All-Around Champion, a contestant MUST have competed in at least one of the previous qualifiers AND must compete at the Championship in Springfield. Riders may participate in the March 8, 2025 event at the IL State Fairgrounds and be eligible for the jackpot payout regardless of previous participation.
Due to the cancelation of the September 7th qualifier, the event at the IL State Fairgrounds in Springfield is now a qualifying event and the Championship has been rescheduled for March 8, 2025 at the IL State Fairgrounds

Age Divisions All Ages are as of January 1, 2024 Senior - Ages 14-18 Junior - Ages 9-13 Peewee - Ages 8 and under Contestants must enter all four events to be eligible for all around awards in their division. Contestants must be in western attire and all announcements made the day of the show supersede show bill. JUDGES' DECIONS ARE FINAL.
