HCI Youth Showdown High Point Series
presented by Midway Trailer Sales and Service and The IL Farm Bureau
Come compete with the most talented young cowboys and cowgirls on their elite equine partners at the HCI Youth Showdown Series. Check in is at noon and the events start at 1 pm both days

Each contestant will receive two rides. Points will be awarded on the best time. Those points will carry over from all events (June 29th at 4 Rocks Arena, October 26th at IL State Fairgrounds, Springfield,
March 8 & 9, 2025 at IL State Fairgrounds, Springfield ) and used to determine the series champions (one in each age division) announced on March 9.
The high point earning individual in each age group at the end of the four series events will be awarded trophy saddles.
All riders are eligible for the 60% jackpot.

*Age Divisions Senior - Ages 14-18 Junior - Ages 9-13 Peewee - Ages 8 and under Contestants must enter all four events to be eligible for all around awards in their division. Contestants must be in western attire and all announcements made the day of the show supersede show bill. JUDGES' DECIONS ARE FINAL. * If you competed in the June 29 or October 26, 2024 event, you will remain in the same age division as you competed in in those events (birthday as of January 1, 2024). Fees $30 per class - OR- $100 for all four classes/division $20 Goat fee $20 Office Fee (only pay for one day if entering both days) $65 per overnight stall (2 nights) NO TIE OUTS PERMITTED
| IL State Fairgrounds - March 8 and 9 All around championship trophy breast collars will be awarded in each age division at both the March 8 and 9 events. Trophy saddles will be awarded in each age division to the cumulative, high-point winners on March 9, 2025. Qualifying events for high point are the June 29, 2024 event, the October 26, 2024 event and the March 8 and 9, 2025 events. Riders do HOT have to have ridden in all Showdowns but MUST have ridden in at least one and competed in all 4 classes to qualify. All riders are eligible for the 60% Jackpot for each class. |
