Fairground Showdown Youth Speed Challenge

Come compete with the most talented young cowboys and cowgirls on their elite equine partners at  “Fairgrounds Showdown” Youth Speed Challenge. There will be one go-a-round, with the top exhibitors moving on to the championship finals. Prize money for the top five placings in each age division and event in the finals! Also, the top All Around competitors will be vying for All Around Championship Trophy saddles and All Around Reserve saddle pads for PeeWee, Junior, and Senior Divisions. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity

Age Divisions

All Ages are as of January 1, 2023

Senior - Ages 14-18

Junior - Ages 9-13

Peewee - Ages 8 and under


Contestants must enter all four events to be eligible for all around awards in their division.


Contestants must be in western attire and all announcements made the day of the show supersede show bill. JUDGES' DECIONS ARE FINAL.

Fees

$60 per class - OR-

Weekend Special $200 for all four classes/division

$15 Goat fee

$15 Office Fee


All around championship trophy saddles and all around trophy saddle pads per division awarded.  60% Jackpot for each class in finals.


Stalls Mandatory

$15 Stall fee per night

$20 weekend clean out fee

$25 per night camping fee
